These springs are located approximately 33 meters above the level of the Nile, and the springs are located at an area of about four and a half kilometers in the north-south side and about three and a half kilometers in the east-west side. They are among the most famous sulfur water springs in Egypt, due to the amount of treated sulfur reaching up to 27%, and the reason behind the existence of this spring is its proximity to an extinct volcano. This spring is considered one of the richest medical therapeutic elements for many diseases such as skin diseases, rheumatic and joint pain.
