Egypt Railway Station
The Egyptian Railways are the first railway lines to be built in Africa and the Middle East, and the second in the world after the United Kingdom, where construction began in 1834. The rails of the railway lines actually extended to Suez-Alexandria line, but work was soon stopped due to an objection by France for political reasons.
then it was revived again 17 years later in 1851, extending across the governorates of Egypt from north to south.
