The spokesman of the Egyptian company of metro management and operation Ahmed Ablelhady Bakeer announced the causes of the sudden failure of the electrical grid between Sadat and Saad Zaghloul station in the Elmarg direction due to outside influence above the tunnel making a short circuit and cutting the electrical grid. The service at the 1st line is from Elsayda Zienab to Helwan stations in both directions as usual and from Eldenerdash to New Elmarg stations in both directions. Regarding the failure area the service is on temporary single track . All teams of emergency are on site to fix the failure. A number of trains are added in the crowded stations to absorb the congestion.
