The Underground: Continuing to make student subscriptions at various educational levels throughout the week, including Fridays and official holidays, with a reminder of the steps for making the subscription. As of Tuesday, November 1st , 2022, working hours will be returned to all subscription offices as before, from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm


The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation announced the continuation of the making of students’ subscriptions at various educational stages until all our students making their metro subscription from subscription offices in the three lines, stressing that there is no increase in the prices of students’ subscriptions at all educational levels in schools and universities. Cairo Metro added that whoever wants to make a subscription must do the following: - go to the nearest subscription office from the offices available in the various metro stations and buy the students’ form which worth 5 pounds for all students, whether schools or universities. - and then the student should fill out the form with the required data such as the station of departure, the arrival station and the name with the placement of 2 personal photos on the form. - Finally the form should get a stamp and approval from the school, college or institute students’ affairs. The photo based on the form should be stamped on both sides from the college, institute or school so the front side stamp will be part on the photo, the other part on the form and the back side stamp on the photo from the back. Concerning private schools’ subscription form will be issued from the student's educational district and stamped with the Republic logo stamp, and the 8-digits account code of the educational administration is proven by the school, institute, college or academic foundation. Cairo Metro confirmed that the students’ subscription is extracted from the student's residence to his place of study only, and it will be issued for 3 months only “the period of study semester”. Where Cairo Metro explained in its statement that starting from Tuesday, November 1 st, 2022, the operating hours will be returned to all subscription offices starting from 7am until 4pm as before, and the company announced the places of subscription offices in the three lines as follows: - The first line (Helwan - Ain Helwan - Helwan University - Maadi - Dar el Salaam - ElZahraa - Alshohdaa 1 - Manshiyat Al-Sadr - hadayaa elzayton - Ain Shams - Izbt Al-Nakhl - Al-Marj - New Marj) The second line ( kolyet elzeraa - elmazalat - Rod Al-Farag - Masra - Alshohdaa 2 - Attba 2 - Dokki - Cairo University - Giza - Mounib) - and the third line (Attba 3 - Abbasiya - Heliopolis - Adly Mansour). with the allocation of the subscription office of Ahmed Orabi station in the first line for employee’s children only. In conclusion, the "Metro Spokesperson" Ahmed Abdelhadi Bekir appealed to the public of passengers to communicate with us through different communication tools like: the hotline service 16048, WhatsApp service 01221116048, official page of the Cairo Metro on the social networking site Facebook, and through the official website of the company “cairometro.gov.eg” in order to receive all complaints, suggestions and inquiries related to the Metro services. With the presence of complaints offices in a number of metro stations belonging to the unified government complaints system of the Council of Ministers in order to receive all citizens' complaints related to all parties, not only the Metro.
